Ever since i bought my 2000 it's been making a funny noise under the hood. Not all the time, but only after i drive it hard for a while and then let it set a cool down for like... 10 mins or so. Then when i crank it back up, it sound to me like the timing chain guides are being slapped by the timing chain. After a few seconds it goes away. Never makes the noise while i'm driving it. But while it is making the noise shortly after start up, i can rev it up and it goes away!?!? It's driving me insane and i don't know if i should just go ahead and replace the guides and the chain. I've taken to several different Honda specialty shops just to get their advice, but there response is not to worry about it. How the freak can they say that!?! Has Anyone else experienced this noise before!?! Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!
