Default What do you think of this power set up

T1R exhaust vs the j's shows good gains
So has the megan racing header which recently showed 7whp gain on the dyno

399 for megan header vs 1500 for j's racing

for that extra 1000 bucks i can almost buy ems...

mmmhmm can it be

T1R exhaust, Megan Header, T1R Test Pipem, AEM CAI, and EMS

T1R exhaust 1k, Megan Header 400, T1R Test Pipe, 250, V2 AEM 250, EMS 1600

3500 bucks for all these parts that leaves money for suspension

this can prob lay down 220-230 whp.... and save 1000's vs

J's racing exhaust 1500
J's racing header 1500
J's Racing Intake 1100
J's Racing test pipe 300
EMS 1600

= 6000!
thats around 6000 bucks

With a little more money I have money for pistons, cams, valves, + tuning

That seems like a nice setup for the price. I didn't even know that the megan header gained 7whp, I haven't looked at that thread, I need to check it out. For 3500 though you can pick up a used vortech SC and hit more along the lines of 300whp instead of 220ish, just some food for thought .

Who said anything about not supercharging it.

You need a good exhuast, header, management to supercharge. The Intake is a minimal loss I can always sell or give away.

I like your thinking . As soon as I heard intake I just assumed you wanted to stay NA, but you know what they say about when you assume, it makes and ass out of you and me .

I might stay NA but this is the great thing about this set....It gives me flexibility for now. Next year its either build the bottom end or just go supercharged.
