You should be fine. Just watch for leaks.

I just changed my diff/trans fluid the other day also and I was dissappointed because I just bought a $70 torque wrench and I couldn't use it because of where the fill bolt was on the diff. I ended up just tightening it by feel, as long as you don't go crazy tight you should be fine.

^ YES!, a good pump is absolutely key for changing the diff/trans fluid. I went to pepboys the other night for a fluid pump and the retard behind the counter tells me that they only had a handpump POS that cost me 5 bucks. I wanted to change the fluid that night so I just bought it and went home to change the fluids. To make a long story short, TWO HOURS later the fluid was still siphoning, it was the biggest POS I have ever seen. I went back to pepboys two days later and I see in the next isle over they had a good pump 20 ft. away, and I was able to change both fluids with it in under an hour. Definitely get a good pump! One like this works great: http://cgi.ebay.com/TRANSFER-WATER-GAS-OIL...1QQcmdZViewItem

If you don't mind me asking, which differential and tranny fluid did you end up using? It's also time for fluids change in my car. I went to Honda and bought their stuff, but just wanted to see what you guys used. Are there other products out there that i should consider?
