What does your S2000 represent to you?

What does your S2000 represent to you?
Lately we've had a lot of posts about S2000s, but not so many about S2000 ownership.
So the question to you guys (and gals) is: "What does your S2000 mean to you?"
S2000 #1 was the first nice car my wife and I bought together. It was the car that introduced us to driving and thanks to this site, the first car I felt comfortable wrenching on.
S2000 #2 was a celebration of our love of S2000s and the financial security we've achieved in the interim six years.
To me, S2000s represent a great community, an accessible "everyman" sports car that is easy to work on and inexpensive to maintain, and an overall celebration of a happy marriage between life's reality and my inner idealistic enthusiasm for shiny toys that go "vrrrroooooom."
So what does the S2000 mean to YOU?

It represents my efforts during LVN school and the hard work Ive put in since I got my license. Nothing beats riding with the top down on the 5 at 1 am and pulling over the lookout point at San Onofre to catch a cigarette.

To me it represented what the REAL Honda was all about it. The celebration of F1 and Indycar technology trickling down to a pure no nonsense sports car.
The reality is that for those of us that can't exactly budget the Supercars from the so called "Prestige" manufacturers it seems Honda was able to build what I call a "Poor man's 4 cyl Ferrari". Exotic looks,exotic sounds from the powerplant,even now 10 years later I still catch people checking this car out like it was an Exotic.
I used to have so much envy of others with the Porsche,Ferrari,and Lamborghini cars. While I still do have that envy I don't feel as bad now knowing that I too have something special . It just did not cost as much as those other guys cars did.

It was a few things...
When I bought my first one I was younger, so it was like living a dream really...it was wide, had great handling, it was fast, and everyone seemed to stare at it. Then it became my relief...I would get done with 10-12hr shifts at work and I would put the top down after and just cruise. Then as time went on it just became my commute car, which made me realize that it was time to sell it.

The S2000 has been a "stress reducer" for me. I work nearly 12 hours every single day. After work, I like to drive my S home while allowing the engine's snarl entice me, though I'm sure I'd prefer a Ferrari's/Lambo's roar instead. 
Anyway, my point is that the S2000 has been an incredible car for me. The only car I'd trade in my beloved SS AP2 for is another S2000.
The S2K is my 'cheap-to-maintain' and impressively crafted "exotic", if you will. Even though it's no longer a rare car, you'd be surprised with all the attention it garners from random people. Once while washing my car, a guy in a Ferrari 360 Spider pulled up next to my driveway and complimented how nice my *STOCK* S looked.
Anyway, my point is that the S2000 has been an incredible car for me. The only car I'd trade in my beloved SS AP2 for is another S2000.
