What does your S2000 represent to you?
i dont have one yet but the time i test drove it for probably 10 times now i know that i just belong to this car,
like most people here, i have a great passion and its my hobby to work on cars.
i just cant see myself in any other car but it just seems that i dont deserve this car just yet. I need to finish school first and get a real job and then so i can live the dream which most of you already is living on.
its just so hard at times especially when i see an LBP colored S2k.. but i have to be patient to myself and get my priorities first.
s2000 was the first car i bought 100% on my own. i had gone through a particularly tough time with my parents divorce (financially and emotionally) and school and finally being in a position where i could afford one marked the point where i finally saw things turning around for me.
to me its my own symbol that i made it through some tough and ugly shit and that good times are ahead.

My first S2000 (AP1)
-----------------------
The car where I really learned what "fun to drive" is all about.
The car that taught me to respect RWD.
The car that made me want to autox and track all the time.
The car that made me a better driver.
The car that made me want to drive fast.
The car that made me want to drive slow.
The car that introduced me to the community
My second S2000 (CR)
---------------------------
Everything from above and...
The car that gave me that bit extra to be able to beat and not just hang with "faster" cars.

From the cars i can afford, the S2000 is pretty much the only car that will give me this "pure sportscar" feeling. It was made to be driven. It's honest, it's puristic, it's a true roadster/sportscar. Not many cars offer this today. And on top of that, the S2000 is a very beautiful car.
A common man's statement, middle finger extended and held high and in the face of those who would prefer to buy over engineered, over powered, and overpriced pieces of automotive jewelry in vain attempts to compensate for their erectial dysfunctioned, deminished manhoods as opposed to the simple, balanced, and pure driving experience that those of us who have discovered the absloute joy of owning and driving the S2000 enjoy... plus, my grand daughter thinks I'm cool because I have a blue one.
