What does your S2000 represent to you?
A accomplishment, a truely amazing car, a reliable racecar and a stress reliever for after work or weekend runs around town and highways, this car surely turns heads and gets much due respect, i'm a proud S2000 owner!
To me, the S2000 is a lifestyle...
Every time I park the car, at work or school, I find myself looking back and saying "damn she looks good". I have done this every day for the past two years with my S.
It's not just love but more like an addiction. I am constantly on this website reading about technical posts or window-shopping in the for sale forum. I love the car and I love the s2ki community. All I look forward to everyday is driving the car. Even though it rattles and buzzes, I still love it.
I knew that this was the car for me when I attended the S2000 CR HOMECOMING in 2007. Now I can not wait for HOMECOMING 2.

It gives me something else to think about besides myself all the time. You know the feeling "what do I want or what do I need?". A selfish attitude has been replaced with "what does my car need?. Cancel that date and steak dinner next weekend and get a new J's radiator and oil cap. You'll feel better about this choice next Monday.
Cool thread! Our S2000 is several things.
The S2000 is the first car my wife and I bought together. We bought it after we decided we weren't going to have kids. Yeah!
It is also my "traning wheels" for the NSX we are getting next. Then the S2000 will be totally my wifes.

My S represents 8 yrs of driving and Modding Civics, climaxing with a 12 second fully built turbo civic hatch..
One day, I realized i didn't want to worry about it getting stolen and the constant maintenance of the turbo civic so I made the SMART decision to part it out and put 100% of the proceeds towards the purchase of an ap2 s2000. After about 8 months of persistence and patience of parting out the car and selling the shell, I was able to attain enough funds to CASH an '04 S2k. My only regret is that I should have waited another year b4 buying one so I could have picked one up with much lower miles.. But nonetheless, It was a good decision to move on to the S.

Holiday bump!
Our S2000 #1 continues to get more modified. After the next round of upgrades, it'll be on par performance-wise with virtually anything I'd want to buy. Essentially my dream sports car without the snob-factor.
S2000 #2 will remain stock(ish) for HPDE and time trials, a reliable(ish) sports car that runs a sweet spot of affordability and performance.
Both give me freedom and comfort to enjoy myself without constantly worrying about the $$. I love these cars for what they allow me to do.
