My only complaint....I had a Lotus Elan (M100) for 6 years and the plastic rear window looked great when I sold it... The S2k window looks like crap already after 4 weeks. OH WELL GUESS I'LL KEEP THE TOP DOWN

Quick note though...Vs. the Elan, the S2000 has no shakes, squeaks, rattles and feels solid when you shut the door.

Those who have problems like me with the headlights washer jet button, it's a good idea to disconnect it if you never use it like I do. I do hope you know how to take off the centre console.

What kind of shallow, pretentious, poser bullshit is THAT?...

Things that annoy me:
1.) No clock (fixed in MY2001, sort of)
2.) No little door panel storage or pockets
3.) The plastic window -- if it were at least removable it would be fine.
4.) The stock audio -- but hey, we're about to take care of that little problem with the help of some folks here.

As you can see -- really minor stuff.

I agree it's silly to wish for the Acura brand if you just want the "luxury" exclusivity or image. However, there is a very real difference between Hondas and Acuras, and that is: Hondas are sold at Honda dealerships, and Acuras at Acura dealerships. Maybe if the S2K were an Acura, this forum wouldn't see quite as many posts complaining about:

- Incompetent repair/warranty work
- Reluctance to admit to problems/issues (1-2 grind, etc.)
- Price gouging
- Other generally poor dealer service

Maybe MSRP would have been 34 or 35 for the car as an Acura, but then again maybe the dealers would have been less likely to price-gouge, and more likely to go out of their way to make us happy when issues arise. As it is this forum has documented some unforgivable behavior by unscrupulous dealers.

Just a thought.

Being on winding road with the top down on a beautiful day stuck behind someone driving at the speed limit. That really pisses me off.

Oh yeah, while we're ragging on our rides, how about the nonsense about taking a drill to our trunk holes to fit the cargo net accessory? You mean Honda couldn't find the right size expanding rubber tie-downs? That was lame.
