ive been using shell for a few weeks, and before i always used chevron. this tank i fill up today with was chevron, just to see if i would notice it. well I did. i feel as if the car is slower off the line, and my idle wasnt as smooth.

I've always used shell, even for my Integra before this. Not because it could be the best, but the closest station to my house is Shell, and it usually happens to have the cheapest prices in the whole region.

Unfortunately there is almost always a line to get in unless you go at night like me.

Yup, they pour in captain morgan and call it 92

they drop in everclear and call it race gas =]

jk,

But whatever you guys do, avoid Costco and those wholesale gas places. My friend's engine was almost totalled with all that gunk from the residue of that nasty ass gas.
My uncle's s500 also had problems because they went to Costco for gas. Thats why I stick w/ Mobile.

moreso than what brand (there are only 4 or 5 refineries) I'd like to know if these cars will take 87! I've owned 3 turbo cars in a row and I'm tired of buying premium... NA = cheap gas??

I usually pump costco and occasionally 76. from what i see here, i might avoid the costco from now on. dont know why such a reputable wholesaler like costco would cheapen there gas. would only give them a bad name. anyone else like 76?

There's hardly any difference across different brands of gas. It's just marketing.

Some gas companies will even swap gas with another depending on who has a truck nearer or en-route for a specific delivery.

Here is some further reading on the subject:

I only stop at gas stations on the top tier list or Amoco.
