Default What is a good D.O price?

First and foremost I finally got to drive an S2000 this afternoon for the first time and I must say it was a very fun experience. It was a used 2000 model at a dealership nearby and with 30k miles on it the salesman had no problems letting me open her up a bit. I was hooked around 8000RPM. I am pretty sure I even scared him a bit but oh well.

What I am curious to know is including TT&L what did you pay for your S2000....that is if you don't mind me asking. I went to 5 dealerships today and 4 of the 5 seemed intent on raping me on price. Does $34k sound right, out the door? Seems a bit high to me but then again I am new to the board and am not too familiar yet with S2000 pricing. I would really appreciate knowing what constitutes average price for this vehicle. Thanks all...take care.

We're in the San Francisco Bay Area and just bought the S2000 today, paid $995 over MSRP and felt we got a pretty good deal based on what we've read here in this forum. Good luck!

Go to John Eagle Honda, and ask for Mac. He is their GM. They should give you MSRP if you let him know you are a member of this board. He is a sponsor.

I got mine from Gillman Honda, and I got MSRP + 400 in Dec, PM if you want my sales guys name and number. The whole deal went so smooth, it was almost enjoyable.

if the are quoting you 34000 drive out price (price+TTL) you are getting the car for under MSRP. MSRP for 2002 model is $32400, destination charge is $440. I don't remember what the TTL is. I think it was 6% for texas.

Talk to Mac at John Eagle Honda. We spoke for an hour before I placed a new yellow/black on order for a tick over $35K d/o (TTL incl). Can't wait
