"what kind of car is that?"
First and only time it happened to me since I've owned the car...I was going through the drive-thru in McDonald's and there was a nice Land Rover behind me. The guy in the LR honks his horn, and I have to twist around in my seat and talk to the guy all about my car for 5 mins or so
Of course I enjoyed it

I have the slate option badges, still says H, but people always have to ask, what kinda car is that? Haha, it's pretty funny now, and I actually enjoy it, cuz to me it means they haven't seen too many...
Funniest one for me happened last night, some kid in a sports car (maybe a Celica, it wasn't in the S2000's league so I didn't pay it much attention) chased me down for about 10 miles till I got caught at a light. He'd seen the H badge, and felt the need to confirm that it was a Honda. He'd not heard of the S2000 before
The S2000 is not advertised as far as I know. There was maybe a two week period before it's release with TV ads, but I've not seen one since. So, it's not too surprising that many people are unfamiliar with the car.

Sometimes you hear wives asking their husband in the car next to me "Honey what is that?"

I'd say about 50% of the time I take my car out I get a question - mostly "what is that" and "what did it cost (if you don't mind me asking)". It amazes me how many people have not seen one and I live in Phoenix where the convertible market is somewhat large. (And just to rub it in to those in less fortunate climates, it was 80F today - beautiful top-down weather.

Heres my FAVORITE!!!
I was sitting at the red light when a guy on a Harley pulled up next to me. I saw him from the corner of my eye looking in the car for a good 15 seconds. He finally got my full attention and asked "Is that a Porsche?" I kindly responded "NO! It's a Honda
"
He nodded his head and said "Nice!" Made my day! lol

A relative of mine who lives and works in Vegas was in town. He said, I see a lot of cars, but haven't seen one of these yet. What is it! If you have ever been to Vegas, there are so many different types of cars just to rent for fun......maybe no S2000's
