jan uary 2000, i rented a white one for 16 hours. a husband, wife and infant in a stroller walked across me at an intersection. they were 30 feet away. the husaband literally ditched his family and ran over to me and asked all of the above. i ended by saying, "Check this out..." and i hit vtec down the street. i felt so bad for his wife...

When I got a speeding ticket in my S about two years ago the cop wrote down "Civic" on the ticket. That almost made me laugh!

everytime the top goes down someone is asking something. I get everything from thumbs up, smiles, waves to the occasional flip of the bird. Some people are very jealous.

Parked at the beach today and had an older (50ish) guy ask me lots of questions. Said he'd been admiring the S for over a year but never seen one in person.

He asked if I like it; I told him to ask someone with more objectivity 'cause I'm an obsesive-compulsive, boarderline fanatical enthusiest. He laughed and my wife roller her eyes... she knows it's true.

On the subject of cop stops, an almost-everyday-occurence for me (hmm, wonder why?): Anyone else been pulled over just because officer friendly wanted to quiz you about your car? I had a state trooper stop me at 0 miles over the limit just to chat and I am wondering if my state's cops are just weird or if that happens alot...
