thought about other cars ... then drove this, never had to think twice

 

The wife approved of it.

 

Sat in the car during the MY00 CA International Auto Show in Anaheim. It was my favorite car of the entire event. Of course I was 15, so it didn't matter much. Got a Miata instead because I loved roadsters and they could be had for $8k used. Ended up getting Celica when I was 18 because my dad still worked for a competing company and wouldn't let a Honda park in his garage. Finally got one when he retired two years ago.

Long 5 year wait, but well worth it. Owning a couple of other sporty cars made me realize just how head-and-shoulders this is above what most people drive.

1) the steering wheel is JUST sooooo nice

2) hitting vtec in 1st and staying in it until redline in 4th

3) taking corners at speeds that would've killed in my civic

 

Besides watching it pull away from that VDUB in F&Furious......its a race car all on its own


I can't tell u how many S's I see on the road daily besides mine.........cuz I'm sure all of u have noticed by now that the enthusiats who do buy this are a rare breed....i mean, besides the fact that we all have huge testicles.....we all have a sense of style, performance, and a love for one of the only RWD Honda's....(i.e..NSX) which i still consider an Acura lol

this car pulls so many bitchez tho

 

1. I can afford to have a toy so it does not have to be my daily driver.
2. No better car out there that met my requirements: convertible, reasonably fast, around 30K, go kart handling.
