Im in the market for 1 main reason nobody mensioned and for a few other reasons, and i swore i would never owned a honda.

4.looks
3.reliability
2.rarity
1.forged internals(turbo to 450rwhp with no rebuild of engine sold me)

I wanna smoke V8's in a 4cylinder, i love being the underdog and making people's jaw's drop. beating v8 mustangs in a 2k celica gts was fun. Now i want to go after some faster V8's and not the slowest.

Started with multiple street encounters with S2000s. I would always keep right up with them, then they'd hit VTEC and walk away. Kindof like a tease. If I'd out right won or lost that would have been one thing, but to be close to even for a while, and then the S2000 would just leave me behind, well...

Then last year I started looking at new cars (a lot of them), and the S2000 had a great Power-to-weight ratio in a 30k package. Add the convertable top and the S2000 aggresive look, and here I am...

I liked the S2000s since it came out.
I couldn't afford 2 cars and I thought the S was not suitable for a DD.
When I had my R32, I realized the S could be daily driven and wanted to buy one but couldn't let the R32 go.
I decided to wait a few more years till I could afford another car, and guess what... God understood my prayers all wrong.
I got into an accident and my R was totalled
somehow I wasn't attracted to the 350zs and I decided to sacrifice some luggage space for a wonderful sports car.

It's been my little dream-car for the past five years. I've positively drooled over the things. I've been lurking around this forum for years before buying one, and plan to keep mine for a long long time. Failing that, I'll have one in my ownership for a long, long time

It's sexy as hell. I could spend an entire day detailing it, and then another entire day just admiring it.

I'm a HUGE car nut (all cars..), of the >100 cars I've driven, the S2000 just downright feels the best - and I'm putting it up against some serious competition in the list. I'd rank the Miata very high up on the list, too - to be honest (it's just plain fun in a very different way - has a lot of character..). I LOVE driving mine. I always find a "long way home".

It's a roadster. I'm sold right then and there.

Overall, it's the first car I've owned which I didn't buy at all because of numbers / specifications / practicality / price / "anything that you'd normally consider when buying a car". I bought it just because I love it

The history of it. How it a Formula 1 design car.

It is best if you read all the sticky about the S2K. or dig more info on the S2K.

basically the car is my "Dream Car"

I know... it is rediculous for a Dream Car to be a HONDA... But it is.... I plan to keep this car like ... FOREVER!!!!
Even when I'm rich i'll still keep this car and get some other car to play with.

I had 10 grand in my RSX and probably needed another 10 grand to get it where I wanted it to be. Got tired of modding the car.

I wanted a car track-ready right out of the box. The S is better stock than my modded RSX was. (No diss on the RSX. It was a fun car.)

duh - it's a Honda!

researched for about a year - begged the significant other for another.

-convertible
-fantastic lines (no front end compares, IMO)
-sports car
-awesome handling
-good power-to-weight ratio
-9000 rpm redline!
