Every once in a while when I put my top back up I find these little pieces of thin white plastic falling out from the window area. I looked up under the vinyl and it appears that along the sides of the glass window that the plastic was attached to these velcro looking strips that are just kinda loose in there now. Was this stuff supposed to be secured to the sides of the window? I figure some sort of glue has come loose or something, although the plastic pretty much looks like heat caused it to deteriorate

It's not really causing a problem, the top works great, it doesnt leak, I dont feel anything coming in around the window when the top is up, but it does concern me that the inside of my top are falling out

 

yea, the white is the glue that holds the velcro looking strips onto the top. that strip will eventually start flapping out when it has septated from the top. mine is doing the same thing. i am going to apply a thin bead of silicone onto the back of the strip and re-apply it to the top.
