When I went to get mine registered the I told the woman behind the counter what it was and she goes "oh, okay....a civic s2000" and i looked at her a second and go "no, its a two seat, convertable, the honda s2000" she just sorta stared for a while then we had to run around that circle a few more times.....somehow i wasnt bothered though its great when even the MVA (DMV) doesnt know what your driving

once i was at a gas station and a guy was like "You got this beautiful car out in this weather"? and i was like yep....he was like man i love this car...then he told me he has a 911 porsche turbo, and i asked him why didnt he get the s2000 then. he said he didnt know about it at first but wished he had bought it cuz you can do so much to an S2000. i was like wanna trade cars? and he just laughed....but i love my S2000, man where ever i go it gets soooooo many looks and people are like, "what kinda car is that" and i just smile. its an amazing, amazing machine...yes it is

I still get great insurance rates because my insurance company has no clue. It's just a Honda to them.

I think my favorite is saying to people yeah i drive an s2000, and they go oh really thats awesome, and the i go, do you know what that is and they go no ive never heard of that. Oh well i love the fact that not many people know what it is; this way it still turns heads everyday.
