What should I do?
The red one sounds like a great deal. I payed a small premium for mine (01 BB with 50k) but it was all stock except ap2 rims and a lip. It was owned by a an older car guy too which really sealed the deal.
Make sure you take into account who is selling it

spend like 1k and get it back to running, im thinking theres more problems with it
get the stock but offer him something crazy low and if he does sell it you will have extra money to fix
like 6k HAHA
I'd buy the stock one too, sounds like the guy took great care of it and low miles is amazing.
turbo would be nice and what not but you already know that car's been beat so who knows what else is wrong or will break 3 months later.....

The guy with the stock one said he wants the money to get a 4 seater convertible for his family. Always like family owned cars. Just seems like they have more care for their belongings. Thanks for all the help everyone. Now all I have to do is wait. I would buy it now but my storage facility isnt plowed out so theres about 2 feet of snow in the way down a 50 foot driveway.
