we don't have struts anyway i have one but there is no way you will stiffen the HUGE I beam under the airbox

The best test, is to have a friend stand outside with your car while you sit inside NOT watching him, and let him put it on or not, go for a drive and come back, repeat procedure, go for a drive, same place, same speed. One time with it and another w/o it, that should give ur answer.

I think its worth it, it works wonders for a resting spot when working on the engine haha.

 

it adds 10hp and prevents bugs from hittin your car.

 

If that's the case, then I'm sold on one.
