If only reading comprehension carried over to something not on a forum...

I see clearly why you have no friends on this forum. Are you still 16 or did you just turn 17?? Done here... Have fun

Was I supposed to make friends here? You condescendingly called me out on something I quoted. I responded back referencing my original quote to where you thought you'd throw a smart remark about not referencing something that was clearly part of the original quote (bolded, no less).

You really cannot comment on the age aspect considering the smart ass remarks you have made. As someone who is considerably older than what you're referencing for my age, I do not feel the need to make "friends" on a forum meant for discussion.

Moderator Comment: if the replies have nothing to do with the original topic or follow up questions posted by the OP, then they are off-topic and subject to removal.

Discussions are encouraged, but when they are way off topic and become personal, they should go to PM. The rest of the forum does not need to be subjected to the argument.

Wouldn't it really come down to how you take care of your car. I think it's a very unique situation. My car has 43k on it and I wouldn't know the difference between the different years. Honestly I could care less. If I were purchasing one it would help to know what's good about each year but it would simply come down to condition vs. price. They all basically look the same. My 2000 runs like a brand new car so to me that's all that matters. I believe any differences would be so minute it wouldn't matter.

Not having read anything but the title post, my preference would have to be 02-03. I have an 01 and wouldn't trade it for anything due to sentimental value but while I'm enjoying my 9k redline, I wish I'd gotten a glass back window. I had the top replaced not long after I got it due to destroyed back plastic and very worn top. At the time, I was naive when the Honda dealer told me they couldn't put anything but 01 top on it. Now I have to wait for something to happen to my window because I'm not going to toss a perfectly good window, even if it IS plastic

My main problems are visibility and that it can't be tinted. Also, no matter how clean it is, i still can't see through it as well as glass.

The window is bigger if thats any consolation, you really can't see much out of the glass window either because its so small, besides, why are you driving around with the top up anyway???

Threads always end the same..... ap1 is moar raw and the ap2 is faster on the track when most people can't even fully push either car to the rail. Buy one that is in the best condition for price. None of the years had major defects.

If you going to modify the crap out of it buy a older one. If not, buy a later model. I bought a 01 because everything was going to come out and it did. If I wasn't going to mod I would of ended with a CR vs a FI ap1.

Ap2 is more forgiving. My ap1 did bite back once and spun me 180 but it may have been my improper setup back then.
