For the love of all things HOLY .................................................. ......
See that black, squarish thing at about the 12:30 position? That is the head of the dipstick. If it doesn't quite look like this, YOU PUT IT IN TURNED BACKWARDS, you doofus.
If it looks nothing like this and there is a little pointy thing sticking out? Some fool took your oil pan off in the middle of the night and shoved you dipstick in from the bottom.
This thread sucks. I pulled and pulled on that black squareish thing that says VTEC on it, and nothing come out.
I recently picked up a brand new 05 S2000. I love this car, but I have a small problem. The best thing about the car is the "panaramic view" it provides from the driver seat. I have had some cars with moon roofs, but this one tops them all! My problem is this. The other day I was driving around and it started to rain. I drove in the rain before on the highway and didn't get very wet, but this time I was in heavy stop and go traffic. I got completely soaked! People were looking at me funny and pointing too which made me worried that I might have had a flat tire or something, but I checked when I got home and they all seemed fine. Anyhow, I think my panaramic roof has a bad leak. Has anyone else had this problem???
Thanks,
"Wet Behind The Ears", Florida
PS-I almost forgot...What does that switch in the console do that's marked "roof"??? I tried pushing it the other day while driving on the expressway and nothing happened.

You are one LUCKY dude! You have one of the very rare S2000s that came with the "weight reducing" permanent top down option credit. Did you notice that your invoice was $1.49 less than anybody else's?
BTW, that button that says "ROOF"? You've heard of the "trunk monkey"? Well, this is your "trunk dawg" button. When you push it at precisely 58.6 mph, in reverse, with the clutch in and the ebrake pulled one click, you should hear a "ROOF, ROOF" coming from your trunk. This is to remind you to turn your head and look at where you're fricken going.
My car makes a revving noise from the front of ther car when I press the accelerator, is this normal? I think it is broken.
The "front" of the car, you say? Since it's common knowledge that the S2000 has it's engine in the "trunk", I'd have to conclude that the noise you hear coming from the front is most likley a poorly installed TURBONATOR. I strongly suggest you remove it immediately and put it in the trunk where it belongs.
