Dave, I think you really need to add a Gas Cap section to your review !!!

I replaced the stock shift knob with one that doesn't have the shift pattern on it. Now I'm often confused about which gear I'm in and where my next shift is...any suggestions?

Mr. Viper, Sir,
Thank you fer your help. I was able to start my car adn roll it out of the dealers so he could close. But I have another question. My prior vehickels all had a big handle on the column that you moved to P, N, R, D or L. I can't find that in my nuw S200. In fact, it has an extra pedal at my feet. I sure wood like to get my new car home. Luckily there is a McDonalds across the street, adn I was able to wash up and eat soemthign this morning.
How much wood you charge me for a driving lesson? Do you live near the Bay Area? Thanks.

Me, too. Like you I had no clue where any of the gears were. I had one of these made up:

Like my post just above, you can make up a new plaque with all the correct letters to stick onto the steering wheel. You can go to an auto "recycler" and get a gear shifter pretty cheap. Duct tape that sucker on there and all will be familiar.

That extra foot pedal is the brake booster. When you REALLY need to stop in a big hurry, pushing that pedal down with decrease your stopping distance by 25%.

I will be in the Bay Area in early July. Let's meet up and I'll hum you a few bars.
