The new Si's have a rev hang problem that can be fixed via an ecu reflash, but it's a voluntary TSB. My friend's Si used to do that, and he knows how to drive. Pissed him off. After he got the reflash, it drives *closer* to how it should, but DBW systems are still annoying.

 

He feathers the clutch on every damn shift. Just let it out, OK? Yikes.

I've instructed a lot of people who expect to have control over the car with this kind of address. Here's what I tell them:

1. Sit up and get closer to the wheel. With arms fully extended your wrists should hit the wheel or go past it.
2. Hands at 9 and 3.
3. Take your hand of the shifter unless you are shifting.
4. Get your foot off the clutch unless you are shifting.

But... this dude is just tooling around so who cares?

 

I can't believe everyone missed this, but half the screen is washed out with bright light. You can't see out the windshield for half the video. His video camera technic is amature at best.
