what is a spring spacer???

 

Spring apacers are some hard plastic inserts that Honda puts in between the coils of our car's springs when shipping the car. the dealers are supposed to remove them, but a feww dealers have missed them. if they are in, the car is stiff as heck and cit can cause damage if not removed immediately. Do a search on "spacers" and you should get more details.

I suggest you visually check the car at delivery. I was guilty of not checking it and relying on the assurance of the Honda salesman that it was taken out. Sure enough, hundreds of miles later I found it was still there.
