When you lowering your car, which way you do?
Hmm this is an interesting thread.
I initially did A, but the differences in height where quite noticeable (almost 1/4 inch difference at each corner). I most of adjusted my set up like 4 times hoping the springs where not sitting right. After a couple weeks of driving and being frustrated with the ride height differences, I did B. Took a while to set that up correctly as well.
Im sure it wont handle as well as set up A or B with a corner weighing session, but for my situation where I dont auto x , i am more concerned about looks. Now I have the same ride height all the way around.
I have noticed though recently that set up B can technically cause problems. In order to get my rear coils to the same exact height, the lenght of travel is less on the left than on the right. So basically my left rear corner has less suspension travel than the right. Due to this, i will rub on the right rear on big dips, since the right has more room to travel while the left wont rub. My set up has more to do with the spring being more compressed on the left rear than the right rear.
I have ground controls with eibach springs and koni yellows.
