I just finished a long road trip of about 1400 miles from Columbus,OH to Virginia Beach, VA, to Baltimore, MD, and back to Ohio with some driving in between. Anyway, I kinda of like to count cars of interest while I am driving and noticed something... our cars are pretty rare. I saw 16 BMW (Z/M roadsters), 4 Audi TT's, 4 Porsche Boxters, 2 new thunderbirds,1 Prowler, and no s2000's. Many people openly gawked at my car (Suzuka blue) and would talk to me about it at rest stops, gas stations, etc... Very few knew what it was.

Anyway, I'm not taking anything away from the above mentioned autos, they are all great cars. But, I felt pretty special in my S. Oh well, I'm sure you all know this.... I think my sunburn has gone to my head and I just couldn't resist this post.

 

I hope years from now I can read posts like this. Their relative rarity is one reason I picked the S over a Z3, Boxter, Miata, etc.

trust me, you will see more one every day~ (as long as you go out a bit)
