I bought Fields VTEC controller for my Del Sol VTEC. I couldn't even find a suitable spot for it. For the S who knows where. The only thing that I regret from spending $300 bucks on it was spending $300 bucks on it. To use it properly you really need dyno time. The only problem is when you add another mod, you may need to adjust the controller, which means more dyno time. Don't mean to rain on your parade, but I hate my VTEC controller.
Mingster,
I read an HK mag with a modified S2000... they mounted the V-AFC using a velcro strip on the face of the radio cover and another piece on the INSIDE of the radio cover. The reason for doing this is that when the radio cover is closed, the V-AFC mounts on the outside of the face... nice and clean. When you want to have the radio cover open, just un-velcro it... open the cover... and re-velcro it so that it is lying flat now against the open radio cover.
Other than that... there really isn't much space, is there?

I mounted Fito's V-AFC inside the lower storage, fixed with the elastic band attach to the door.
I find it too rice for outside mounting and you don't need a bright blue screen on your face.
When you need to tune there's enough cable slack to pull it up to your lap.
Very clean and no one knows the car has one. When taken to the Shop or other place you just lock the compartment.
