yeah, thats what people usually say untill something better comes along.
i kind of agree...but if you think about it, given the way the car market is headed...will there be anything in the future that will best the s2k at this price range (especially the used ones)?

i doubt you will see anymore major carmakers make this type of "boutique" car for such a small target audience. maybe w/an electric motor, but that won't be the same. i plan on keeping mine for a long time...i just hope we don't run out of gasoline!

I plan on keeping mine forever. But, hey, I'm 57. It's doable.

having an s is a completely different story. i love this car and the only reason i'd sell mind is to get another one with really low miles. currently hitting 70 on my MY04.

I'm keeping the CR forever, partly because the loan/value will always be upside down until it's paid off, but also--

Reliable
Fun
Even funner with the roof off
Enough storage space to haul all my stuff
And around here, like Tigger, my CR's the only one!

I am going to get, as soon as I can, a different convertible for the days when I don't know whether it'll rain, and a regular coupe for when I know it's going to rain. The CR will stay forever as the sunny day car.

Until I trade it for a

Closing in on 7 years with my S. It's still the perfect car for me right now. Nimble, great handling, plenty fast, fun to drive, reliable, good looking, and it's a roadster.

Not much this side of 911 or M3 prices really interests me, so I'm quite happy with what I have. And, I really enjoy not having a car payment...

I'm definitely going to add more cars to my garage, but never going to sell the S, not that it's worth all that much anyways
