Well I would be under the assumption that your parents helped you out somehow becuase I am not sure how a 16 year old kid would be able to save up enough to even get a downpayment on an s2000. And IF they were able to save enough cash I would not know how they got a loan without their parents cosigning. (assuming that you have to be 18 to get a loan)
Guessing your 16 and bought your own car CONGRATULATIONS!!
Share the story how you came about getting your S. And welcome to the s2ki community!
Why the hell does it matter to you orvthis community how the OP got his car.

To the OP, enjoy your car and disregard the haters.

lol i was top down at a light and an old man in the passenger seat of the car next to me was staring me down. when i finally looked over at him he gave me a jerk off motion and then went back to his crossword puzzle.

this was moments after i had pulled out of my house and onto the street so there was nothing i could have done to provoke this

clearly people that judge are jealous or something
Why are you judging people that judge? You must be jealous of them...

So really, making judgments may or may not be fair, but it is not wrong. Making quick judgments and then sticking to them too stubbornly -- that is what is wrong.
Actually, this is an excellent point. We're designed to quickly classify/judge/categorize based on prior experience in order to function in day-to-day life. There's nothing inherently wrong with that. Just be aware that this approach requires that you maintain the ability to change as you have new experiences. That's where a lot of people get stuck.
