I would think, "there's a spoiled kid with good taste". Honestly, s2k prices are starting to bottom out, so they are beecoming more and more affordable, but in good shape, they still look like a high dollar car. If you are so self-conscious about it, just get yourself some vinyl made up that says, "Paid for by me!" Or f%$k what people think and just enjoy the car.

I know how you feel man. I bought my S five months ago when I was still 18. Every time somebody saw my new car or saw me driving it they automatically assumed that my parents bought me the car. It annoys me so much because I hate it when parents hand their children shit like that. And since I'm young everyone assumes I'm some spoiled brat. I'm proud of the fact that I'm paying for this car myself. Makes it that much sweater.

Obviously I wouldn't complain if my parents bought me a car but I wouldn't ask them to or expect them to.

[When did you see your first S2K in the dealership? If it was in the year 2000 then that would mean you have been saving your "own" money since you were 8 years old. That equates to about $160 dollars a month for 8 years.

when i was 13 i was working 2 summer jobs one monday though friday wacking weeds for the town making 7.50 and hour the other at a italian restaurant bussing table for 7.00 an hour for 4 hours.
then when i was 14 i got a job after school making 8.50 an hour working for 4-8 at a nursing home and that year i still had both summer jobs but made 8.50 an hour becaue of that raise. when i was 15 i worked t the nursing home and the summer job for the town making 9.50 an hour after the raise. this year i am working the summer job making 10.50 an hour and after i left the nursing home i got a job at mcdonalds making minimum wage so dont question "my own" money thanks for your concern though

 

Most people are morons.. most morons don't know what an S2000 is. Most people that don't know what an S2000 is doesn't know they've been around for 8 years and cost $10k now. So, they're morons that think you're driving an expensive car.
