Ferrari = low displacement v8 with almost >8k redline, rear-engine therefore short exhaust (this is a big part of it and also the reason why Porsche's have a distinctive exotic sound).
Viper = huge displacement v10, front engine so long exhaust (use to be side runners that would occasionally catch the door sills on fire!)
