because the s2k its an 8 year old design. Navi wasn't everywhere. its like driving a car with a cassette play and you have to ADD your own CD player.

Sorry, but its AVAILABLE on the S2000 in other markets, so this doesn't fly.
The rest of the world wanted navi systems, it caught on later in the U.S.
add to that how hard would it have been to offer heated seats? the nav that my 2004 acura has is superb and i would haveliked it in my 2004 honda. i don't understand their thinking...and add why is the car stagnant and not being made after this year?
none of this makes any sense...and the raw roadster talk has been stated...that is certainly no reason...why a/c?why power steering? why stereo? why wind blocker? why leather? why power top? etc....
nav would have been really nice, along with a real stereo and heated seats.

nav is way too common in Japan now. it is offered to pretty much every single car and if u go back to Japan now, u'll probably see a nav in every car on the street lol. This didn't happen just recently, Nav was already very common many years ago in Japan. nothin much to do with topic but yea, just a little info.
i've always regarded the whole "this car is a purists car" argument as a cop out.
it should have had navi as an option.
limited color selections, ok.
heated seats should have been added in the later model years.
speakers/radio have been improved through the years, so no complain there (could be better, but it's... acceptable for oem)

Well, I'll rephrase my statement, though I don't think it came across as the purists' argument... An Ariel Atom is a purist's car
.
If it was available, I wouldn't want it: I know where I'm going. And if I'm driving to get lost and enjoy life, I don't want to have that thing telling me how to get back to reality.
