That's why the snorkels are good. All they do is feed the air/water/debris into the first chamber of the air box. It has a divider and drainage whole to stop water etc getting into the engine.

You do however have to clean out your airbox occasionally.

my friend with an FD3S rx7 was actually telling me different last night, he says our cars a much more cheaper than his car.
