Is anyone else just sick and tired of nastinupe1's constant bitching and whining or is it just me? Search on his past posts and threads... nothing but mindless babbling, bashing the S2000 or whining like a bitch about something. Shut the fock up already...

I'd love to sit around all day and search other peoples previous post and threads but unfortunately I have a life.

I've got to be missing something. What convertible compares at the S2000's current price point(no additional dealer market up)? I'm not in the market for a new 3rd vehicle as I love my car. Is there such a car available?

Ps. Still snowed in... mother-in-law's been stuck here since Friday!

For the price of a new car, nothing. But used, there a a few options.

But that's what makes the S such a great car. It's really in it's own league. The BMW Z4, SLK AMG and Boxster S cost thousands more and the Miata isn't as fast (Although many may argue that speed means nothing).

For the price it's a great buy. Untill the Z350 convertible comes out there will be nothing in it's price range that will contest it.

just so u guys know the spec V is actually slower then the normal S2000. The stupid electronic steering sensor thing isnt responsive enough and so the lap times are slower.

oh and the 350Z roadster...yea what are the odds that a car thats heavier then the 350Z with the same engine will be able to run the same 5.4 sec 0-60. Odds are its slower then the S2000.

It's pretty clear that nastinupe1 knows very little about the history and culture of the Honda Motor Company. This is not a company that's into bragging rights or one-upping the competition. It's all about convention-defying innovation and certain principles. Honda does not turbo charge production engines. Period. It's committed to fuel efficiency (ranks #1 in the world). It's easy for a manufacturer to strap a turbo on an engine and make it go. But there's no one that holds a candle to Honda for NA engines. Do I care if someone with a turbo "smokes" me. Not a damn. Take the turbo off the engine and it's a pig.
