The doors on the S2000 are so light and small and the latching mechanism is very precise...why, oh why, do people think they need to slam the door like it's a 64 Buick?!

I don't know if anyones said this cuz this post is really long and.....uh.. boring
, but the reason MOST people slam doors on lighter door cars is because they probably own or ride in a german car where the doors weigh a forking TON. Go to a BMW dealership sometime and open/close a 5-series/7-series or even a 3-series door. the damn THINGs are HEAVY. yea try to get out of your bimmer on a road slanted to the right. the weight of the door on you and trying to lift yourself out 270 degrees is near impossible. Welp thats why i head to the gym and curl 2 plates cuz i gotta get out of my car sometimes.

yes everyone seems to have to slam the door...........actually its the guys who seem to do it more often, whenever my girlfriends get otta the car they have learned not to slam the door, but no every single time there is a guy in the car especially my boyfriend "boom" there goes the door and me again sayin "hon, you DONT have to slam the door" but everytime the same thing happens. what the?!?!
