And an absolute night and day difference in driving character. The car has a TON more midrange torque and it's easier to drive fast without wringing it out to the ragged edge constantly. But then when you do go WOT, you are that much faster than an untuned S2000. Notice I said untuned, not unmodded. As has been mentioned, a tune is absolutely paramount to extracting gains from this car. If you just bolt parts on you are not getting the maximum value from your money and in many cases you can cause the car to run lean and start knocking.

For pre-06 people the above gains will cost you a bit more. No FlashPro for you :|

here's a comparison showing my 02 ap1 bone stock versus a bunch of bolt on's and ecu tuning. it's not easy but with the right combination of parts you can make power out of these engines.
