Windscreen area Valentine One radar mount

Assuming you checked to be sure all of the connections are tight, the rattling is probably caused by the bottom plate rubbing against or bouncing off the top of the compartment cover plastic. I had the same problem. To fix it, I slipped several velcro strips between the plate and the cover to provide some cushioning. The rattles went away.

Just wondering, up in the post you mentioned something about a visor mount. Did you come up with anything on that? If so, please enlighten us all!

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to mount the body of V1 completely within the secret compartment? Assuming that there's not a lot of metal fore or aft, it shouldn't affect radar range too much (though LIDAR detection would be impossible, of course). Such an install would be great from a security perspective.

Jonas from the Ohio board has this done....not sure what kind of detector he has but that's where he has his mounted....looks great!
