So here is a crack I got on my windshield of my A330 flying across the Atlantic. These windows have 3 panes for safety and they are kept warm to keep them somewhat pliable to survive 30lb turkey vulture impacts at 300 mph. (Canada geese Capt. Sully??) This "crack" happened suddenly and without warning. Made a loud crack/pop sound. I did tighten up my seatbelt a bit more!!
We were able to keep going as the mechanics said they could buff it out on landing, no need to go to Pep Boys, LOL!
