Default Windshield replacement

Replacing the windshield finally it looks like absolute crap at only 22k miles. Does anyone know if they replace the outside moulding around the windshield?

They're supposed to. Also watch for the rearview mirror attachment button. But it's still parts they probably have on hand.

Never thought about the rearview mirror. Thanks for the tip.

Yes they do and most places will tell you they use factory rubber trim but they don't. I've see some ugly looking rubber seals so if you're picky about that kind of stuff take a look at what they use first. I've heard that PPG is good quality glass so if they'll be using some other brand of glass you might want to do some research on it. I've had crappy glass in the past where it'll crack super easy.

The glass will be PPG and I will definitely look at the trim piece before they put the glass in.

Thanks!
