Just a side note.... I love M3's, but I hate M3 'verts, they look like crap with the top up and just as bad with the top down. The car is definitely too big to look good with the top dropped IMO.

 

surprised at how many of you are seduced with the brand/prestige. the car might or might not perform better, certainly not in handling. it's not as fun to drive. it's a ton less reliable and expensive to maintain. so you're essentially saying i'd trade for it because others will think im cooler or i'll feel better about myself since it costs more? am i wrong?

Staight up I would, then sell it, buy another S and mod it with the extra cash.

I Love BMWs, but I love my S more. If I needed more room and could only have one car it would be an M3 (e46).

 

Where's Poindexter? I believe he sort of did this b/c he used to have an S2K and now he has an M3. I seriously doubt it was a straight trade, but he's at least had both cars. I talked to him about this once, and he actually misses the S2000.
