The stock airbox is really good with an K&N filter.

I removed teh top of my air box and replaced it with a K&N and it sounded mean. Until I instld my Espelir Exhaust then thats all I could hear. Cant tell if i gained any hp with the K&N but at least made up for lost hp's

I'd recommend going with the stock airbox, and putting in a stock filter :)

Drive with the airbox lid off for better sound, and put the lid back on for power.
