would u sell the S for a corvette C5
No.
I own both cars and wouldn't trade the S even for my C6, much less a C5. The C6 is not much fun to drive every day, the steering is loose, the shifter is clunky, the build quality is mediocre (all comparing to an S). There are great point to the car, including the torque, HP and a few more looks, but I don't think its worth the trade. Especially, not for a C5.

see like I said I don't care about the power and tq I just want a fun driving car
I have a low 10 sec integra soon to be 9'sec (if that happnes) and the way I did the whole set up on it so I can keep it streetable (well kinda streetable). if I want power I go drive that around. That thing blisters the tires on 4th gear going like 80+ on the highway at half throttle (with some huge drag radials).
so stock cars power wise from factory don't really impress me.
that why I'm not looking at the C6 or the zo6 .
actually real reason is I want the tops or targa topswhatever its called.

Not unless it was a Z06. Either way, the interior on the C5's are asstacular.
the interior sucks big time, but hell, if you plan to do mod, do it on the c5.
there's people running around with headworks and bolt on with 4-500 hp, with boost, 1000ish hp is not rare.
go drive one, sure they are fun when they run and a very nice ride...but the quality of fit and finish along with the quality of reliability and the excesive power you can't use in daily life turn me off...resale, takes a dump in large quantities so buy a couple of years old..if you are truely tires of the honda then go look at porsche and bmw, they handles and go like stink adn are built better than the chevy. even the new 4 door gto which we shall see soon, comes with the corvetter engine, that would interest me more, or the ctsv...but the quality is just not there.
