would u sell the S for a corvette C5
it may be faster, corner harder, but it still cant be funner to drive
large, wide, long hood, etc
driving is about steering feel, chassis feel, shifter feel, pedal action, etc... id rather have a slower "fun" car than a faster but boring car

actually if they only made the vette 300+lbs lighter and 12" shorter without a V8 i would look into it. wait a sec that would be too close to a S2000 or Saturn Sky redline.
so, the answer is still NO!

^ how nice is the C6 to drive every day? just asking cause not a lot of people use the vetts as daily drivers.
One thing I do hate is the 1-4 shift lockout. Its so stupid and I haven't taken the time to learn how to disable it.. I guess its as annoying as the delay in the clutch on the AP2 S.
If you already drove it and found yourself wanting one while you were driving, then perhaps your mind is made up. Every car has a compromise so when you move onto your next car you're going to miss the endearing traits of the previous car.
Btw, you shouldn't let things like image of the car factor into your decision when deciding on a car you drive for fun, unless your idea of of fun involves status. Most of the C5 owners I see these days are 30 somethings car enthusiasts, just like how most S2000 owners I see aren't Asian F and F wannabe gangsters or females. Most people outside our realm of S2000 owners and enthusiasts don't exactly view our cars in the same light as we do; it's time to end the cycle of hate people! ... but I digress.
Anyway, I'm interested to know which way you go because the C5 I believe is going to be my next car.
