Would you support a S2000 with the TL V6
The way I explain this engine and this car to people is this:
"It's basically a sport bike in the shape of a car. And it's meant to be driven the same way you'd ride a sport bike (revved high, cornered hard) otherwise you might as well just buy a cruiser because if you don't drive it like this it's not exciting and the feeling you get is so so." Drive it like it was designed to be driven and you'll have a smile on your face.

In my mind a sports car is supposed to be loud, noisy, harsh, sometimes difficult and temperamental.. thats half the reason I love them. If I wanted plush, quiet, sophisiticated, inane I would drive a car with 500lbs of sound deadening like a huge benz
All my sports cars are noisy and most of the time difficult to live with but thats part of the fun.
I daily drove a car with
No A/C
No P/S
No ABS
No Auto Windows
No Auto Locks
No carpet
No padding/sound deadening
No headliner
No door panels
No rear seat
Non opening passanger door
Non opening hatch
No cig lighter/12v
No passanger side mirror
I'd strap myself into the 5 point and off I went

i had a tl 6 speed.
keep the S with the F20/22 engine.
i have thought about swapping it too, but its not worth the dollars.
you will do nothing but add weight and mess up the weight differential of the car. just get a supercharger you'll save money and you'll be going faster =]

My fiance hates my car. That's why she bought an Acura. Different strokes. I LOVE my car...especially now with ITB's. You wanna talk about harshness, you should hear thing thing in VTEC...bodies roll over in their graves, women and children run away screaming in terror, and full grown men can't help but crack a devilish smile. The F series motors in the S2000 are unique to these cars, and make up the very essense of the S2000 driving experience. They are not meant to be driven by the weak at heart. Honda is world renowned for it's engine manufacturing, and the S2000 family of engines are some of, if not the most, hyperactive, Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde personalites that could ever be achieved in an internal combustion piston engine.
If you hate the engine, turn around now and walk away slowly. You will not enjoy your experience with this car, and that would be a shame.
