I think people were expecting me to be driving faster though. Because I drive my car normally pretty conservative. Braking earlier and not downshifting. Oh but I race someone though with that tank of gas. I race 3 times. But normally I go through a canyon run but avoided it this time. I probably did half freeway and the other half street. I shifted at 3k or less got kinda annoying though. But back to canyon couldn't stand not VTEC it was like not having sex.

It's possible to get 30mpg in an S2000, with the top down and not necessarily going slow. A couple of years ago, when I took a long trip in my car, I kept track of the mileage the whole way. You can look at the numbers here.
