WOW got pretty high MPG
Trying to determine how many miles you get from one tank with "x" bars left on the gauge is meaningless, as has been proven by the many posts about how far one can go with "x" bars or no bars left.
The only accurate way to determine fuel economy is to record the mileage when filling up, then measuring how far you go before the next fill-up.
I average about 29 MPG in mixed driving, only use VTEC when I need to, because I don't need to scare people on a daily basis. And I don't race, EVER. Having recently re-entered the college scene, I'm not surprised that some of the younger drivers can't get decent fuel economy, because their "image" is directly connected to their accelerator foot. Being 38, I don't suffer from that malady.

This morning I drove from Cincinnati to Milwaukee, making one stop. The first half was with the top up and I got 30 mpg (added 8 gallons for 243 miles). Spent essentially the whole run in 6th at ... ah ... well, it was quick (it was Indiana after all).
Put the top down for the second half and haven't gassed up yet, so not sure.
