You can bang your head all day and all night long, fact is it's not a donation.
I suppose you are going by the Webster's defination of Donation, which defines it as:

"something that is given to a charity, esp. a sum of money"

So perhaps gift was a better word choice.

Hey cthree: how about a Gift link, for those of us who feel like throwing a few extra bucks in the pot.

It's something I've been asked about several times and think that it would be fine.I'll see how difficult it would be...

Well, I was going to just re-up my regular membership. So I took the change off my dresser, ran it through the coin counter at the bank, it was $66.72. I put in for the Gold last night.

Also I did the math for the calculator challenged. Based on membership fee's, it comes out to $44,200. I make quite a bit more than that, and I seriously doubt Cthree is making a living off it. Add revenue is probably low, and vendor revenue probably isn't all that great either. If he's pulling in $100k off this site I'd be shocked. After paying for routers, t1's, servers, repairs, new equipment, space (yes warehousing epuipment has a cost), and taxes! So maybe he's making $40k (optimistic) off the site. Running this joint is pretty much a full time job I'd guess. I'm a network admin myself, keeping servers running for 7000 users, backups, maintenance, etc is a real PITA.

Platinum? I've heard the rumors for a while now but I see that it's true now (unless my eyes deceive me). Where can we purchase the bling bling of memberships?
