Thanks Pop Tarts, I'll have to talk to cthree about eliminating that.
Though one benefit was that many of us Mid-A s got to know many of the Chicago area s through a war...

I think s2ki is a great entertainment and information value. It's well worth my contribution. Although, I wish I could receive a refund for Steve C's frequent "contributions..."

I'm not sure if this is already being done, but it might help convert some of the guests to members: Perhaps a polite, tactful membership invitation message should be sent to all guests by email & PM on a regular basis. Once or twice a year is probably sufficient as a friendly reminder.

With no apologies whatsoever to Mastercard's ad agency....

1 quart LE-607: $13
Parts for xviper's bottle-cap-tube adaptor: $5
24mm socket for diff drain plug: $4

Dozens of experts to tell you what really works, complete with color photos, and what costly mistakes to avoid: PRICELESS

Signed up for gold last night, after just a few seconds reflection on how much I'd already saved thanks to the Oil Journals alone! (And it's still less than half the cost of a set of Helm manuals....)

Thanks, xviper, for reminding us how valuable this site is to all of us.

I'm not going to read this whole thread, however it did make me notice why all of a sudden my PM was overfull. My membership had run out!!
I didn't notice it. So now I'm a gold guy, well worth it. I mean WELL worth it. So much so that I'm embarrassed not having done it by myself.

I think s2ki.com is a great communite and it has alot value information.
that's prob why we are injected with alot of " guests" most of them use this site for useless arguments,
stupid stories, personal attacks and the list goes on......
I think that a "member only" site is the best option to avoid all the useless data space,
let's put the #'s together and see how many guests, members we have, and let's analys the data to see how much they take by adding nonsense stuff to this site. and I mean nonsense like ( how can I spend 1k into my car).

I'm pretty sure if you add a poll to each chapter, about " member only" most of us will agree with that. except the guests of course
after all what can we lose by asking this?

how did you guys resolve the problem about selling stuff on this site?
by becomes a members?

so why not a member only?
I just think this site will save alot of data space by doing this and we need to recuit more serious guest to become member and leave those fly by whoreposter on the side

my 2 cents .......
