there are moldings, rivets, threads, and steel backings in the bumper for a front plate. no way around it. dealer has nothing to do with it. best you can do is ask the dealer for the 'plugs' that are color matched to cover up the holes.

[QUOTE=Green Tea,Sep 1 2005, 01:27 PM]...I would however opt for an 06 just because of the stability control and traction control.

Go for an 2006 model. Some moan about the traction control and drive by wire control, but I think Honda evolves the car forward, and the same people moaning would've been the alst ones to go to disk brakes in the 60's like Ferrari.

I am anxious to drive the throttle control on the 2006. Why buy a new car that has been sitting around for a year, when you can the newest and latest.

Yellow is a great color too.

Yeah, and that reason is 99.9% of people on the road can't drive for sh!t. By your statement I'm sure you'll forgive me if I lump you into that category. One of the cool things about the S has always been that it was a no frills sports car. I was pissed when they softened it up for 04, when I was ready to buy, so I went and got an 02. The S used to be a car that catered to that .1% of true enthuiasts, but now with the addition of traction control they are just like every other sports car pandering to the moronic masses that just want to look cool. What's next? An automatic tranny?
That's fine with me, I admit i'm no Michael Schumacher. I was unaware that a "true enthusiast" was never into electronic gadgets that can help you if shit happens. I guess I must have missed the memo? And by your logic the s2000 pre 06 is more of a sports car than the cars Porsche produces , corvette, etc. And if you wanted to look "cool", buying a Honda isn't one of the smartest way to go about obtaining the "cool" factor
