jallen1217 :

Thank you very much, I tried dealing with Classic Honda and they insisted they never sold an S2K at MSRP, even though I told them about you.. I tried sending you a price message asking who you dealt with but I didn't get a response.. oh well.

I just called Jimmy Bryan Honda up and they just got a yellow S2K in *TODAY* and they are selling for MSRP, I gave them my credit card and put 1K down tonight.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it!!

Chris

When you called Classic, did you speak to Jose Melendez? If the deal at Jimmy Bryan falls through; speak directly to Jose and tell him that Jeff Allen referred you. The way that I was able to get my deal was by going to the Jimmy Bryan web sight and printing their price quote, which is $32740 (they had the cars in stock too) and with that in hand I went to Classic late on a Sat and simply told them that if they wanted to keep a previous good customer, they'll match the price, otherwise I'm on my way to Jimmy Bryan. They agreed to MSRP with no forced options. Let us know how this plays out for you.

Good job! Which dealer sold the car to you? When I bought in Jan '00, the dealers in Miami just laughed at me when I offered MSRP. I had a car on order down in Key Largo at MSRP for May or June delivery, but cancelled when I picked mine up in Coral Springs fow a few hundred over but 5 months sooner. It was well worth paying a little more for the additional saddle time . Also, I kept in touch with a few of the dealerships because people were asking me where to buy a car like mine, but once summer arrived, prices crept up again.

i purchased at honda of north miami. i love the car but the salesperson and management and many other staff members knew nothing about nothing. it was the worst car buying experience i have ever been through and most likely will ever be through. my salesperson knew nothing about the car and forgot all the options i wanted on the car so when i negotiated price for lease with management, i thought i had got the deal including full spoiler kit and alarm! car came and nothing was given to me.
they dont give loaners, financing dept almost screwed up my credit by sending payment to wrong department at chase....
and so on!
but i love this car soooo much its so much fun!
i just stay away from the dealer as much as possible
