At 26 I, like yourself, consider myself in between these two groups.

I'm sure it has more to it than just the car , but I took a female friend of mine to see the S (someone was picking their's up at the same dealership I got mine) and the first thing she said when she saw it was "Wow, that's the biggest chick magnet I've ever seen!" True story.

When I told a friend I was getting this car, she said "clearly this is an early mid-life crisis". I disagree. At what age is it "ok" to own a car like this then? In your teens-twenties, most people cant really afford this car (and still have enough to get their own place, pay for dates, etc), and in your 50's you definitely get accused of being in mid-life crisis mode. So, what better age than your 30's when you are (presumably) at a point in your career where you make enough money to afford a nice toy and are still young enough to drive it without being accused of "compensating" for something.

Mother fxck those fxcking goofs.

Chances are they are bitter from their shxt 9-5 jobs. How many people do I know point the finger at me and say "crisis" ( At 24? ) when I buy a red roadster, yet make 1/10th what I make per month and try and act "bling" while living at home? How many people do I know who make even 1/5th what I make and drive SUV's with 20 inch chrome wheels, blow $300 on 1 shirt and 1 pair of pants, and then can't afford to do steak @ $30 once per month because "I have to wait for my next cheque in 4 days"

People are stupid. Not to say I'm not, I pulled some dumb stunts with my last car, a 97 Cobra... but for fxck's sake... when people pull out the "crisis" word they are just bitter.

Heh....yeah she's kinda bitter. Her husband isn't "delivering", shall we say, and she's a miserable person.
