if you are smart about driving no car will ever bite you in the ass.....i have grown up around sports cars, everything from e30 m3's to porsches to a few exotics, i was driving all them when i was 16...17...18 and i did enjoy them, drove them vary fast and loved it, but i knew my limits and never went near the "real" limits on the road, but also i had been karting for about 3 years before i had my licence (quit when i was 16, got into real cars ) and have spent time at a few driving schools and track days, in high school everyone was amazed that i had never crashed any of the cars i had (my daily driver was a 91 golf btw...yes pimp mobile to the extreeme ) but i never got why they were amazed, i feared my parents and the police more then i craved speed...and thats how it should be with all kids...even if i am able to provide my son with a very fast car in 20 years or so, i will make sure he is a competant driver, and knows that if he is in an accident (where he was being stupid) or gets a ticket for something stupid (50 in a 40 zone is not stupid imo) but racing or something like that, trust me he will be riding his skateboard where ever he goes untill he can afford to buy a car forhimself.

IM 16 I HAVE AN NEW SPORTS CAR, MY PARENTS BOUGHT IT FOR ME, I PAID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, THEY PAID 20,000 DOWN AND ARE FINANCING THE REST, THEY GOT EXTENDED WARRANTY, ALL I DO IS GO TO SCHOOL AND GET GOOD GRADES, SO I WILL EVENTUALLY GO TO A GOOD COLLEGE, GET A GOOD JOB, AND WILL BE ABLE TO BUY MY PARENTS A NICE CAR AND PAY 20,000 DOWN AND FINANCE THE REST FOR THEM.

i donno if this is just a korean thing, but this is what most koreans do, they get their kids nice things to make their childhood fun so that, they'll get repaid later.

eventually when i get kids, im going to do the same thing, im going to get them a nice car, something expensive, rather then get them a 5000 dollar piece of crap that will blow up and kill them.

honestly if my parents got me a piece of crap car, ill treat it like a piece of crap car, and probably kill myself, the fact that my parents got me a nice car, makes me more cautious, maybe that snot everyone but thats me.

MAKE FUN OF ME ALL YOU WANT BUT IM RUBBER AND YOU ARE GLUE WHATEVER U SAY BOUNCES OFF MEEE AND STICKSSSS TOOOOO YOUUUUUUU

yea dats right i'm immature sue me

Who gives a shxt about these momma and daddy's boys that get their cars bought for them?

90% of them are snivel-nosed retards who don't know the difference between a breast and a football. They live at home and probably have this as their first car and don't know shxt from shxt.

It's much more impressive to people when you've made it on your own without having your ass contantly wiped by your mom and dad.

i really dont care if you have a go-ped or a mclaren, the fact is your attitude is amazing, i had no idea anyone was that spoiled and selfish you think you somehow deserve the car, and your a bad parent if you dont give your child an expansive sports car. i think its crazy for a parent to strech their budget for their kids to look "cool" in the high school parking lot. its amazing how you sound. you should be on your knees thanking your parents every second of the day. you have a warped concept of life.

me too and I paid cash. I worked for mine for almost nine months, virtually from my day of conception. At first I worked at McDonalds flipping burgers while my mom worked at Burger King. Then as the pregnancy went on, I was made CEO of McDonalds and Enron just before the merger. Soon, I was driving my S, showing off drifts, chalking up kills. Then came my birthdate and I've had to tone down a bit so as not to upset my grandparents.

turned 19 in december and looking to buy the s2k. bought a new fully loaded 2000 prelude when i was 15 and hoping for a trade in. man i wish the s2000 was as cheap as it is now. i would have got the s2k if the f$##@ dealers didn't charge crazy mark up prices. my local dealer was selling it for over 40k.
